No, it was cold by the time we got there.

The hot springs were cut off as a result of the LB earthquake. Did they get re-routed into the ocean?

Such and interesting area. Between the lore and the subsidence, I'm always fascinated.

I could say the same of the entire Palos Verdes Peninsula. Driving stop'n'go through there on Ju Koon was like a greatest hits parade of my entire life in California, combined with something I discovered a mere month ago (the cliff climb) and a wonderful something discovered that very day (White Point Hotel Ruins) - after a good 30 years of fascination with the area.

And to think, as a group of Ju Kooners, we've never even experienced (and likely never will) the Sunken City off Point Fermin - which was my prime Palos Verdes tripster destination (in fact, my prime Southern California tripster destination) for a decade and a half.


The peninsula is a treasure trove of weird history, natural splendor, psychic phenomena, and adventure galore. I want to spend at least part of every Ju Koon carousing around P.V.
