preview pane is critical for me, i get hundreds of emails a day at work, use it to quickly absorb and delete info and keep from 'marking as read' those that require more thoughtful review and reply.

Trust me: you do NOT want to try Thunderbird liquor. It is a favorite of the desperate/homeless. It is cheap and nasty.

Do not drink it! Once a friend brought some to dinner as a joke, the bottle tipped over and some splashed on my hand, took the nail polish right off!
