Since there was a lawyer involved, I assume they left a few steps out of the store, i.e., liens, attachments, etc.

Although it is funnier to imagine as an episode of The Andy Griffith Show: "Now, Barn, you can't go foreclose on the bank just because Otis says he's got a judgment. And put that gun away."

I was given some turnips and spaghetti squash. Not wanting them to go to waste, I looked up a few recipes and made them with dinner.

Yeah... I'm going to pass on those next time around. Didn't care for either of them.

I made carmelized turnips and cooked the spaghetti squash in the oven with a little water covered in foil then gave it a quick toss in a pan with some butter and italian herbs.

I may try roasting the turnips in the oven and give them one more try. But I'm just not a squash person.

My Mom used to mix brown sugar and butter with her spaghetti squash but I don't eat squash.

I will never forget my Mom exploding one in the microwave. OMG, it sounded like a bomb went off, even blew the door open, and there was strings of squash everywhere. I laughed so hard I thought I would die

I thought the trick with spaghetti squash was to shred it into strings with a fork and then dress it like you would actual spaghetti? I don't know, we only had it once (random plant that popped up in our backyard on its own), and I don't really remember how it tasted, but I don't think we prepped it right, because someone told us the spaghetti thing later.

My cousin online was telling me how I should give turnips another try. After going on about how great they were he realized he was actually talking about parsnips. ha!
