I've never even heard of him (so far as I know) outside people recommending his podcast to me.

ETA: Oh, you prompted me to finally look him up. So I do recognize his picture though I had no idea of his name. But I still can't think of HOW I recognize his picture so he hasn't made an impression.

Did you ever watch VH1's Best Week Ever? He was one of the comedians on that, and became the host when they changed format. He was also on Mr. Show. That's the most high profile thing he's done. Other than that he's mostly a standup.

But no, if you aren't already a fan I wouldn't recommend the podcast.

Despite having to occasionally leave the meeting to throw up, last night I was given a 2 year contract with a not unsubstantial raise - but even more importantly, I really felt that the people in the room GOT what I was talking about and appreciate the work I've done so far.
