Google+ Is it the answer to Facebook?

To see what you've +1'ed, go to your Profile page. On that page is a row of button near the top (Posts, About, Photos, Videos, +1's). Click +1's and it shows what you've done that to.

However, it seems to only list +1 on other sites than Google+, so you can't use it to find comments or posts there that you've liked.

So far I'm not finding that anyone else's name shows up when I hover over the icon. But apparently there are other uses (see below).

Thanks, Alex, that's exactly what I was looking for. It's also interesting to click on Learn More on the +1 page. It looks like Google will use +1's to further "personalize" your search. Sites where people in your circles have added a +1 will probably show up higher on the list of results. That's my interpretation anyway.

Tell me about it. I keep having to remind myself to check FB, and then it's like wandering from an interesting conversation into a room packed shoulder to shoulder with everyone I've ever met talking at full volume. I might start "hiding" everyone who isn't family and/or interesting.

Looks like some one (I'm looking at you Face Book) is trying to play catch up in the features department. Namely they are trying to imitate circles.
