Well, I guess this is the place to mention it. Today is the release date for Kinect Disneyland Adventures. And I helped. (I got to write lots of character dialog and script some of the cinematic cut scenes.) I've played for a couple of hours, and I can report that it's about as physically exhausting as a real visit. (100% motion-based play. It's an impressively detailed re-creation of the park. You'll have to provide your own churros and Dole Whip, though.)
I'm happy to see some very nice reviews. Here's one that rated it 9/10, presumably for the family market, not the hardcore gamers. godisageek review Anyway, I hope folks get a chance to try it. If you're in the Orlando area, let me know, and I can arrange a personal demo, complete with non-stop jabber from yours truly. |
