Best dressed, Angelina Jolie, she looked like a trillion.

Loved that of all people, Meryl Streep was bleeped, she looked genuinely surprised to win.

Boring show. Gervais, as I expected, was lackluster. You can't make lighting strike twice ... and when the pressure is on to be edgy and envelope-pushing, it's nearly guaranteed neither will happen.

I liked Macy and his wife's little ditty when presenting, and Rogan's ad lib. That was about it. Otherwise, presentations and speeches were just plain dull.

Fashion, both good and bad, did not disappoint. But I sure miss the days when the Globes were on local TV only, and the celebs didn't mind being seen, ad-libbing like crazy, and messing up constantly while very drunk.

While I agree the show overall was pretty boring, with occasional highlights to break the monotony, I loved Gervais. He cracked me up every time he was on.
