I always love hearing acoustic versions of songs. So much more heart.

Acoustic versions usually are. At first my mouth dropped open. I couldn't believe what my ears were hearing. I usually love the original rock version but what i heard was just so unbelievable for me really. I really hope that i get to hear more acoustic songs from Jon in the future.
It was great to see Jon really let loose with the cover songs and have a blast up on stage other than the regular band's setlist during tour time. He really did seem to have a good time and most of the audience down front seemed to show him that we were as well. I don't think i ever danced and sang so much not even at a regular Bon Jovi show. The two hours seemed to go by super fast but yet super slowly. I wasn't sure how long of a show we were to get because it was just Jon Bon Jovi and Friends and not the whole band. I really really want to go to another Jon Bon Jovi and Friends show again. Jon did covers like "Nothin But a Party", "Pretty Woman", "Chain of Fools", "I'm Your Man"(my favorite so far),"Old Time Rock and Roll, (like i previously stated started the show with "So You Want To Be a Rock and Roll Star", "Under Pressure", "Sympathy For the Devil", "Start Me Up", "Baba O'Riley", "Good Times", "The Letter", and ending the show with "634-5789 and telling the audience that we can pick up the phone and call him that's his number...lol |
