Well, I provided a link, but apparently that wasn't sufficient.

Firefly was a wonderful, albeit short-lived, American television series written by Joss Whedon. It was basically a Sci-Fi Western that was very well written. Unfortunately, it did not last long (only 14 episodes + a wrap-up movie that came out a couple of years later).

Well worth checking out if it is available in your neck of the woods.
