We're moving to Vegas

We're moving to Vegas. Well - Henderson area most likely. My husband just accepted a job offer there. He goes out on Monday to secure housing and start work. Then we'll move as soon as my son is done with school next week.

If for some reason you don't end up in Henderson, just avoid Summerlin (specifically, anywhere subject to the Summerlin HOA, but something adjacent to it over on the west side is nice)

Vegas is nice. It's like inland California, just reeeeeeally far inland. But culturally, very similar. And there's always something to do!

Which is great as we already live in the IE - so not too much different weather-wise.

I'll take your advice on the HOA. I'd like to avoid drama at home.

Yeah, Summerlin's a perfectly lovely area, but they keep it that way by being absolute nazis about things.

A new adventure! I hope your move goes well. Henderson is a decent place; my mother-in-law lives there. Gives us a great excuse to visit Vegas.
