				            | I went to the Scandinavian festival yesterday and had Biff paj, rossettes and abelskivers( spelling may be way off) so I guess I'm right there with him. I even stopped for fresh peaches on the way home. It was a delicious day!

				            | I'm a purist, but mainly because I was spoiled growing up by having great æbelskivers from a new defunct restaurant in Solvang (the ones you can get now are good but not great) and my Grandmother. It was actually an honor to make them for friends a couple of years ago (my first effort).

				            | We had some for breakfast and a funnel cake while we waited in line. It was fun watching all the ladies lined up making abelskivers while you waited too. This year they only had strawberry or raspberry/blueberry jam with them.

				            | While I love it when my hubby waits up for me when I get home late, the instant (or nearly so) request of "are you ready for bed yet?" is not particularly relaxing. So... No. I'm not.

				            | So... I'm flying to Indianapolis tonight for Gen Con. It will be a combination of having a ton of fun and working my frelling ASS off as volunteer for True Dungeon. See y'all on the 20th. |

				            | I'm so immature. The news just said, in their little summary of stories coming up, that Mitt Romney tapped Paul Ryan... ... as his running mate. And I giggled about it.
