Eh. Not happy to see them loose, but it was just one of those games. Both pitchers were on, it came down to a few good breaks, all of which went the Giants' way. The Dodgers lost several base hits on unlucky position/good defense, whereas the Giants got a couple base hits on bloops.

Unless you were referring to the running game. Pathetic indeed. And perhaps that swinging K by Kemp with a man on third. Ugly.

Oh, wait, this is the MLB thread. Baseball is healthier when star pitchers like Lincecum do well and predictably sucky pitchers like Blanton suck. So, what's the problem?

Yeah... Not a fun game. But Lincecum sure can pitch. And Blanton fooled nobody (except for a handful of strikeouts).

The Nats keep rolling along. We've taken the first two from Atlanta leaving us seven games up. With a fairly cushy closing schedule featuring a lot of home games talk of playoff baseball in Washington this year does not sound the least bit cuckoo.
