Yes, in certain contexts, ANYTHING is a horrible request. But the way these are presented, they're saying, "Can you believe someone requested this?!" as if the very idea that anyone would ever ask such a thing is ridiculous on the face of it. And a few of them just don't strike me as such. They strike me more as, "I'm the artist, I know what's best, screw what the customer who is paying me to produce something for them wants, they just don't understand." Which is sometimes true, but something tells me a good chunk of this is people not being able to take suggestions and constructive criticism.

Using my college education to show off: the effect of colors/images appearing differently under different light sources is called metamerism. I (well, my Dad) paid a lot of money to learn that word; I gotta use it when I can.
