As I hated both the Yankees and the Dodgers at the time, I frankly can't recall if I was rooting for him or Reggie in that epic confrontation. I think Reggie. But it was epic.

That was the first time that I knew days in advance that a famous person was going to pass away. He could not speak, so the man with the golden voice had been silent for quite a while. He had no quality of life, and it was time. But it is still very sad, and his current wife only made things worse from the sound of it.
