We were driving around the Valley, trying to find a place that would take cash in exchange for food, and we finally ended up at this little dive-y sandwich place next to a bar. We got two tuna sandwiches and two waters for $12 (ow!!!) and watched as patrons began to stream into the bar

Wow.

Sandwich place next to bar. Lunchtime. Big power failure. Apparently people just gave up on work and decided to go a'drinkin' !
