I think it's unfair to point out that Democrats aren't participating in the probe as if that's what the Republicans want. The Democrats REFUSED to participate, as I understand it.

The democrats refused to participate in a Bush-led republican controlled investigation. The want an independent investigation that isn't going to get whitewashed by the administration to cover their own blunders. Of course, the administration will never allow anything that holds a risk of any sort of accountability on their part.

They Refused as they would be outnumbered on the probe, AND their #1 proposal that included overturning the recent tax cuts was shot down immediatly. If Those cuts were overturned do you know it produce $68 BILLION a year? I am happy , you are happy with that little $300 check you got, (We enjoyed ours too....lol) But were taxes really Strangling ANYONE 3 years ago? It was NO WHERE Close to 1980 when Reagan fixed that mess.

You CUT taxes to make more revenue. Kennedy knew this...Reagan knew this...and Bush knows this.....................
