NHL...new rules should open the game up a bit.

Yes this is going to be great.....I am hoping a new Hockey Superstar will emerge from this ........my money is on Marian Hossa of Atlanta....that guy is fast and has a touch with the puck unmatched among his contemporaries.

WHL hockey up here in the NW has already started and I can tell you that the rule changes(the WHL adopted nearly all of the NHL changes) do have one drawback..............Common courtesy durring a Hockey game is to wait for a stoppage of play before leaving ones seat or returning to ones seat. Before this year that would mean a wait of 30 seconds to as long as maybe 3 minutes......now a wait of 5 minuets is not un-common
