I used up all my adventures by 11pm last night.

On the bright side, I spent some time in clan chat and a higher level member gave me stuff I needed to make two new familiars. One helps with item drops and one raises stats. I've been using the item drop one for my car, but I have like 6 of everything except tires and rims. Bleh!

Also, donating $10 to the site gets you a Mr. accessory, which can be sold for $7 million meat. So I think the problem of where to get meat for the clan is solved. I don't mind donating when someone levels up.
