1) An interesting and satisfying (intellectually, morally, and economically) career.

2) An objectively accurate internal gauge against which I can measure my accomplishments, skills, and ultimate worth. (No ego, no depression.)

3) A world where travel to and enjoyment of the treasures of antiquity is safe and free from political interference.
