Just because I think it might be an inappropriate song, doesn't mean I didn't laugh my ass off when I first read the story.

We just watched This Is Spinal Tap last night, too...

Didn't UC Northridge want to change their mascot to "The Quakes" and rename their basketball arena "The Epicenter"? I thought that was great, but it was shot down by the same "inappropriate and offended" crowd.

Actually, a minor league baseball team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is what you are thinking of. The did in fact call themselves the Quakes and did indeed name their stadium The Epicenter. The mascot's name is Tremblor. They are a farm club for the Anaheim Angels.

We lived in RC when they opened this stadium. Nice place.

And the stadium where the Mighty Ducks (hockey) play is called the Pond. As in "Duck Pond"
