I've gotten to the point where I almost literally bite my tongue. I'm about to say "I'm tired" or something and I stop myself as the words enter my mouth. I think forcefully, "I'm not going to whine about this, saying 'I'm tired' won't help anything, just keep walking and don't complain," etc. It really is tough. I keep feeling like my feelings need to be heard by others, even if they don't change the situation any.
![]() I'm just hoping that someday I won't have to coach myself through it.

CP~ wanting people to hear what you feel without needing them to fix it, I can not remember where I read that is how women are! Something to the effect of when a woman complains to her husband she doesn't necessarily want him to fix the situation, just to listen.
I don't necessarily say I'm tired, or that something bugs me BUT my husband says I yawn quite loud and that I scoff too much. Yes, I hate, too, that I have to bite my tongue. It is hard! But, put it this way, why do I have to do it soo much? That is how I feel. Quit doing things that make me scoff and ignore my yawns and life will be sweet. ![]()
