They did send emails to the APs holders, and I believe the DVC members, and it's on the passholder website - so I'm not sure what more notification should be made. If you didn't get one that you should have, they may not have your email and AP linked.

With Philharmagic and Soarin' it was in the Mickey Monitor; for some things, I still like getting a piece of paper in the mail. I guess they don't have my email address, but it doesn't really matter. I'll be getting there soon enough--don't need the AP rush.
