But wait, that's this year. I thought it took at leat 16 months to plan these sorts of things. Or is that just Australians?

Heh. It's been in the works on and off for a few months - was supposed to be late last year but with a break-up/moving house a couple times/spending waaaay too much money shopping and going out/etc etc it got put back a few months. Looking good for August though (fingers crossed) - I'm really looking forward to spending time at the Parks in summer again. It's been round Christmas the last couple of times which was awesome, but I'm ready for some serious sunshine again (not to mention late-night martini-fests at the Uva Bar).

We'll probably stay at the HoJo this time (it's really affordable in Kiwi dollars and I quite like it) or if that fails, the Anabella. No Grand Californian this time, unless I win the lottery (but definitely some time in the Hearthstone Lounge - I love it there).
