new travel opportunities are now available from Walt Disney Travel Company in Anaheim. just rolled out are tours to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Wyoming, Paris, Italy, London, and the Canadian Rockies - all with the Disney touch.

the web site is up, but, looks like some info still needs to be loaded into the system... check it out at AdventuresByDisney.com

I love this concept, but man, those trips are very expensive!

We're going to WDW for 3 days, and then we board the Magic on October 28th for the 7-night eastern Caribbean cruise.

Including airfare, a category 11 stateroom, WDW lodging, and all ground transportation, we totally scored at $2,800 for the both of us.

If you have any info about the Halloween festivities while onboard, please let me know! We're trying to determine on whether to bring costumes, and if there's trick-or-treating (adults included), etc.

We're actually planning to go to Hawaii this year-- but after checking out the offered Hawaii trips on the site, I think it's safe to say that we won't be going with a Disney tour. Between unusual dietary restrictions, and unusual pricetags, it's not really compatible with us. (Plus, we love planning to travel as much as we love travelling-- we'd want to do our own research and decide where we want to go ourselves.)

Hmmm... The daily itenaries are, of course, well thought out and very well organized. But for me, the fun and "adventure" part of traveling is roaming around, making your own discoveries, and creating your own adventures based on personal interests.
