Can you then convert your IPOD to a PC iPod? I can't believe you can't just transfer the stuff off of your iPod to your PC. There's an Apple store at the Sphincter, er, Spectrum. I would go in there and ask a genius.

okay, here's the thing... did you put stuff on your pod that you dont have on your home system?
Shame on you. <joke really>That said.... In My Opinion you have one totally legal and "what they want you to do" option. Burn a cd of your playlist. Now, you can copy the files from your pod, and place the files on your computer... BUT, in my expereince, itunes renames the dumb things It takes some work, but you can make the files work on your home system, but it isnt as easy as it could be. I personally think this was the whole reason they made this software like they did, so that you couldnt just use it as a file sharing program. Is there a software for $50 that I dont know about? Interesting idea.
