Jumping in....I think that Michael is the father of Sun's baby. And when the baby is born, everyone is gonna know. She might....if the relationship is on the upswing and she had an indiscretion that she is not planning on repeating, it would be more hurtful to Jin to ease her own conscious than it would be benficial to Jin.
