I think this thread is a conspiracy to make me want to move back to California.

Say, I just ate at that very Steak N' Shake last week. You have to be careful. On certain nights, there are two clowns at that restaurant, making balloon animals and generally lousing the place up with their scary chipperness. Also, that's the most cleanliness-challenged S&S in the area. But I eat there anyway.
Oh, I like my In n' Out just basic double double. Maybe I'll indulge this weekend. |

Not a fan of In-n-Out but I crave me the White Castles! I tried the frozen ones once, and once was enough. Nasty.
The real ones? Fresh? OMG. yes. My mom laughs at me every time I go home, we have to stop and feed my addiction. My dad understood; the White Castle stop on the way home was mandatory.

I never understood the White Castle thing. Maybe you have to grow up with them. When I did a trip with a group of people into White Castle country one person in the group insisted we stop. Everybody who had never had one before didn't really care for them (I didn't have one myself since they're made of cow so maybe I'd love them).
But whenever I visit the parents I do have to stop for lunch at Burgerville, so I understand the compulsion. |

![]() I like hot dogs best! Carney's is the absolute hot doggity (literally)! I always feel guilty eating meat. I wish I had the strength to give it up. If I had to have In-N-Out? Protein style I suppose, with cheese. No sauce. Just ketchup & mustard. Can I choose Carney's instead? Der Weinerschnitzel? Wait..I like those 'nilla milkshakes In-N-Out serves. And the strawberry shakes are my favorite! I haven't had one in years! Yum! As for sex? That's with my boyfriend, animal-style, with me spread. ![]() |

I was gonna remind you of that, Prudence. Not to mention that we unleashed the evil that is Starbucks on an unsuspecting, not fully caffeinated population!
Do you have Zip's over there? Best tarter sauce anywhere. |

Except that I don't drink coffee, so Starbucks is never the first thing on my mind. But I am really ashamed that I didn't think of the Seattle instutition that is Dick's. Hell, wasn't it even in Singles? Or am I imagining things?

Cool! My friend from dance class was in the Twin Peaks pilot. Which is vaguely food related, if you consider the pie.
