Finding Nemo Musical

"Nemo is the next generation of theatrical entertainment for the company. It will encompass a lot of visual spectaculars and will be a very popular show." The music is being written by Avenue Q composer Bobby Lopez and his wife, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who wrote the book, music and lyrics for the a cappella musical Along the Way.

It's a theme park show, I don't see a problem with trying it. Equating it with the broadway shows seems odd. Even if Anne Hamburger has delusions of creative skill.

She did the EXACT same thing with the Snow White show, claiming it to be Broadway caliber, and then saying something like "people that go to theme parks don't usually see Broadway shows, what a treat for them" angering plenty of APers.

Actually, unless I am misremembering, it was Aladdin she called Broadway caliber. It seemed to me that she very studiously learned her lesson on that one and avoided such explicit comparisons for Snow White.

And the same this time around. She isn't the one making the comparison. The writer of the piece (StudioWeb) is. What caught me as odd is the writer's presentation that it is somehow a suprise that an elaborate stage piece is being done for an amusement park rather than Broadway.
