That sounds freaky. I could never shoot at one though. I'd probably get a really big cat.

How sad. People don't realize that releasing an unwanted pet into the wild can cause problems for decades, if not centuries, and disrupting ecosystems to the point that it's a major issue, not only for the people and animals who live there, but also for the pests themselves.

I understand the need to eradicate the population of them, but this guy makes me sick:

"Iguanas are not human. They do not deserve humane treatment," resident Richard Zellner wrote. "As far as I am concerned, they can be burned, shot and mutilated."

While animals are not humans, they are still living things. Bastard. This guy's coming back as an iguana in his next life.
