I found a streaming New Zealand radio station. So far they are covering Football. Of course being New Zealand it's not like they would interrupt football coverage for something as trivial as possible mass destruction.

Keep in mind that destructive tsunamis are very rare so while New Zealand (and Hawaii) are on alert odds are that absolutely nothing will happen.

I only heard about it when I got to work this morning - several hours after it would have hit up north (nowhere near where I am, but still...)
