				RtS: White Wolf Cafe
Rank the Swank - Restaurants and Bars Overall Swank Rank White Wolf Cafe 1829 Orange Ave Orlando, FL 13 May 2006 http://www.whitewolfcafe.com The Lowdown This restauraunt is highly recommended in "Vegetarian Walt Disney World and Greater Orlando," and I should have gone sooner. It's good for carnivores, too! Food Decor Service __________________________________________________ The Gig Lunch The Grub I had a sandwich (cucumbers, tomatoes, sprouts, and cream cheese on wheat bread) and a cup of gazpacho. HTHBellcaptain had some kind of meat-filled wrap. Dessert was peanut butter brownie ice cream pie. Simple, but very, very good. The Scene Affordable, delicious, and great service. I have no idea why there were so few people in this place on a Saturday afternoon, but I can't complain. White Wolf Cafe is in north Orlando, and if you'll be venturing out of the Disney area, this might be a nice place to visit. It's near the science center, botanical gardens, theaters, and lots of antique shops. In fact, it used to be an antique shop--the decor is antiques, and the tables are made from the old walls of the city hall (which apparently blew up in a Lethal Weapon movie). They have lots of salads and sandwiches, soup, and some other entrees. The dessert was wonderful. I'll definitely be going back--there's a spinach lasagne I'd like to try! I don't have pictures, but their website has some. |

| I Floop the Pig | How was the gazpacho. Spicy? Completely smooth, or a with little crispy veggie bits?

				            | Not smooth at all. Crunchy. I wished it was spicier, but it was still pretty tasty (unlike some others I've had that just taste like icy tomato *cough*EpcotFood&WineFestival*cough*). |

| HI! | Between Boma and this place, I'm almost tempted. Oh, and visiting good friends is a factor too. |

				            | The good ones are not in Orlando, sadly. But let us know next time you're out here and I'll get you directions. |
