I encourage you to have a look at the recipe for Banana Bread Pudding. It's not "Banana Bread" Pudding, it's Banana "Bread Pudding."

I made a version very much like that for a brunch last year. It got wiped out.
But instead of fooling with the cooking and tempering involved with the vanilla sauce, I just bought some vanilla bean ice cream, let it melt and served that as the sauce. |
