Sooo, I was at a sports store tonight buying camping stuff for my sis, who apparently didin't learn much when we were growing up. Her b-day is looming, and she wanted new stuff, so there I was. Anyway, standing in line I noticed a very small cylandrical object- no more than three inches long- with a full pack of teeny little batteries. A Laser! Totally doable! Interestingly enough, there was also some duct tape nearby......

Call me when you're ready, GC.

I would love to get my little fish tank running again. I used to have a few tetras and a dwarf frog. I just don't have anywhere to put it. If Princess Peach (who only anwers to Pretty Pretty Princess Peach) would share her huge cage with the others then I would have room, but nooooo...Instead I have 2 cages on the base of my fireplace and no room for fishies.

Ok, am I sick? I keep having a visual of one of the "floor" rats climbing on top of the fish tank and falling in. Just the thought of it is making me giggle.

I have to remember to check whether a CD is "enhanced" before purchasing. I can't rip the tracks for my iPod = I can't listen to this in the car.

I may have to buy this stuff again on iTunes.

For a minute I thought it broke the skin, but nope, it is just a massive blood blister in the making and it hurts like crazy.

Poor kid took the toy away and said, "It's ok, it will just have to be stuck." He then brought me a large cup of ice water to soak my throbbing thumb. He feels very guilty right now, so I had him kiss it to hlep it feel better.
By any chance was it the green dragon thing??? We had that problem the other day... that was a pain to get out.

Sorry about the blood blister... I hope it all worked out.
Any pokemon stuckness is better than the Spider one with the discs that get stuck.

Soooo, Chris is at O'Hare trying to get on a plane. He may end up on stand by on a direct light to LA OR he will end up on one that stops in LV, which he has a ticket for, and leaves 5 minutes before the direct flight from a different terminal.

I am picturing Chris as OJ Simpson dashing through the airport. Can I call him Juice when he gets home?

I wouldn't refer to anyone who loves me as OJ. Would make me fearful for my life.

So......my 6 year old first grade son is the pickiest eater on the planet. He literally survives on peanut butter sandwiches, fruit, and milk. No other protein. No veggies. I'm not going to force feed the kid (I was as a child...shudder....), so if he doesn't want variety, I can live with it, as what he's eating isn't really bad for him.

The school he goes to has about 700 K-6 grade students.

However, with the physical fitness tests they do, only 13 out of the 700 students reached the highest level of achievement for their age level, being at the 90th percentile or higher in each of 8 physical tests.

I think I'm going to start a new nutrition plan.

Pair him up with my seven year old... maybe if one of them will eat something, the other will.
