Ah, well your supplier hasn't ordered any in a while. You'll be glad to know she got a delivery on Wednesday. The parmesans are a much lighter shade of whey.
There are, occasionally, batches of parmesan thet cook really dark, not anything I have any control over. They do, however, taste just as delicious as their lighter toned brethren.

Lately, I've been a late-night chowhound.

It seriously needs to stop. I can eat my own weight in snacks.

My favorite-late-night snacks lately (or anytime snacks?)

*A slice of cheddar cheese
*Maple & brown sugar rice cakes
*Peanut butter & chocolate chip rice cakes
*Cinnamon toast rice cakes (extra decadent if I spread butter on top!)
*Mini cheddar rice cakes
*Red licorice (the rope kind!)

Can you tell I'm hooked on rice cakes? They've become my latest obsession. I always crave them! I usually get a sweet tooth when the clock strikes 12, so I usually munch on a piece of licorice.

Last night, however, I'm not going to pretty it up. I ate many bites of cold steak. In bed. At like, 4:30 a.m. How sexy!

I LOVE rice cakes. Ralphs store brand are devine. I'm hooked on the cheddar ones but I may have to give the cinnamon toast a try and put butter on top. That sounds scrumptious.

I went to Trader Joes hungry. Big mistake. Aside from the $20 in cheese and crackers I also bought cheddar corn crunchies, triple ginger cookies, waffle cookies and pita chips. I put back the wafer cookies, chocolate cat cookies and a bunch of frozen stuff.

Yes, I was there on Thursday. I think I got the last of the previous batch of the parmesean. They tasted a bit "aged".

But just so you know; I am still hooked on 'em. average about three packages a week.
