And in all likelyhood, that hand churned butter would be so vastly different from what people were used to that they would not like it.

(I've had it, its very different)

And it is far better to have people walk away with that piece from the smith, than walk away saying, "Hey man, it's cool and all, but stay AWAY from the butter churning area"
