I think at the next newbie meet you need to walk up to him/her and give them a big slap on the face. That'll get your image locked in their brains.

I think it was the .... fifth time I was in the same place with Kevy that I finally said, "Hi, we've never actually met but...."
(mind you, same place, they werent all meets)
And what did he say? "Oh, I knew who you were"

And you... well you and I sat back to back at lunch. That doesnt exactly lend itself to lasting memories!

I have to admit that the Pirates meet/sinking was a bit of a blurr for me. I was really in LA for my Grandmothers funeral and I had a few hours after I arrived before the rest of the family came in. Rather than spend it sitting in an LAX arrival gate I chose a little comfort trip. The meet was a happy coincidence for me. Which is why I was wearing a suite coat to DL....

Then to make matters worse, when I arrived at the meet for my surprise grand entrance, I tripped while stepping over the rope into the seating area and fell flat on my face.

Fortunately the main body of the group was seated towards the back of the seating area and either missed my swan dive or were kind enough to not mention it.....
