Pirate Attraction Poster Question

I need help from the Disney Gurus.

Our captain's quarters are decorated with the full size attraction poster for Pirates of the Caribbean. I was noticing that there are some initials on the pirates chest. They look like "WK" with a "O" over the top of the "WK".

Does anyone have any idea what these initials stand for?

Does Walter Koenig's middle name start with an O?

Or, perhaps that's where the pirates keep their cooking utensils.

It's where they cook their stir fry.

I have that poster as well. I always thought it stook for William Kidd. The O looks more like a stain or mark, not part of the monogram. Seems a likely pirate reference.
