We are home from the grocery store. I am pretty pleased with myself. Only 1 junk food item was bought, the rest were fruits, veggies, milk and bread. Nickolas and I are now eating salads for lunch.

We had chicken cooked in spagetti sauce all day in the crock pot, over rice. Very tasty.

I am forcing my mom to be up and ready to go tomorrow morning at 5am. Nickolas and I are taking her to Disneyland. She is griping about having to get up so early, but I know she is pleased that we want her along.

I had my first voice lesson tonight. Not only am I not a tenor (I *know* I'm not, but there aren't enough guys in the madrigal group so it's what I end up singing), I'm actually a high soprano who doesn't know what the hell she's doing. One lesson and already I've made higher noises than I've ever made in my life under any circumstances. And they weren't ugly noises. This is great!

Tortilla Jo's cut back the Cantina menu even more. No more Sopas, no more masa boats. Don't know if you can still get them inside or not.

Meanwhile, we got a really good discount on some margaritas made with some tasty new tequila they were pushing. Then I saw the banner with the chick stradling the beyond blatantly penis-shaped bottle. 'twas odd.
