Okay, so apparently the winter Olympics in Torino, Italy start a year from today. How do I know? Because it's on Good Morning America. Guess what else is on GMA.

The most hideous costumed character I think I've ever seen. Have you see this thing? It looks like someone dyed Gumby's body red, then stuck Jack Skellington's head on it. WTF?

I saw that as well...except on the Today Show...I don't watch GMA! I'm a Katie Couricholic! I know, how can I hold my head up in public?!

But yeah..I saw that "thing" and thought..."That's the best they can come up with?"

I coulda come up with a better mascot.....Where's that pirate photo Eliza posted?

I wonder if the NHL will send players to the Olympics .....actually, I wonder if there will be a NHL by the time the Olympics are open

I had actually seen the drawing and the costumed characters when they were announced. They are a bit hideous, however they look much better than the freaky cartoon characters that Ralphie just linked. Yikes!!

I haven't seen the new "interesting" mascot. Although, most of the mascots from past Olympics seem rather odd.
