It's Daniel Edwards, the same guy who grabbed headlines and threads with the Britney Spears birthing statue and the Hillary Clinton bust.
He'll ride it out as long as he gets attention - good for him. As far as calling it "art" - well, "art" is a pretty elastic term. For me, the sculptures in conjunction with the attention make the art. By themselves, they wouldn't mean much, or considered masterpieces.

Leonardo Di Vinci. Sandro Boticelli. Pablo Picasso.
Daniel Edwards. It hardly seems fair, but they are all artists. Like mousepod posted, "art" is indeed, a pretty elastic term, and means many things to many people. Do I find it riduculous? Offensive? Actually, I find it just lame. What a piece of sh*t- literally! And why would I want this particular turd? (You know, as opposed to all the other turds I collect & hold so dear to my heart.. ![]() ![]() ![]() I could throw a piece of yarn & tinfoil on the ground and call it a Salute To The Way Things Land. Any takers? ![]() |
