I'm somewhat in between. If someone posts to their LJ something like, "I went grocery shopping today and bought blah blah blah. Then I went home and did blah and then watched blah..." I couldn't care less. I just scroll past. I find that the majority of my LJ's friends posts are meaningful updates or amusing/sad/unique happenings that I quite enjoy reading about. I rarely post to LJ because I rarely have anything terribly interesting to post. You can make posts friends only though. I quite miss reading yours CP.
