My mother in law has a seamstress who is creating her whole dress from scratch for only twice your asking price, so I'm sure alterations would be reasonable. But I don't imagine you fancy going to Burbank. Sorry I can't be of more help!

Actually, if she's available this Saturday morning around 9am, that could work!

And, I'll have time on a weekend or weeknight in October to go pick it up.
