Taped the Bud Shootout to take Kat to the movies....but not after I had allready watched all the pre-race.

DID NOT watch the news or check the internet except for this site last night.....saw this thread but did not open it....watched the Shootout last night after Kat went to bed...tried to stay awake but couldn't...so stopped it in the middle......this morning before I even got out of bed, I watched the rest!


I was rooting for Tony Stewart...but had bet on Jeff Gordon (who I can't stand!)...I was hoping my bad luck would rub off!


This week, It'll be NASCAR central at our house...Gatorade 125's are Thursday, then Saturday the BUSCH race then Sunday is the biggie!!!!

But I can still be swanky....We had season tickets to the Texas race and the last time we went, I filled my Starbucks coffee thermos with KJ Chardonnay!

Is this even written in English??? Sounds toooo complex for me!!! Except for the words, 'Starbucks' and 'Chardonnay,' I'm lost.

I watched the Indy 500, and I was thinking that if they left earlier they wouldn't have to go so fast.

We live in a Nascar nation. There are plenty of people named "Dale" running around to prove it.

I don't know a whole lot about Nascar, but I do know who Jeff Gordon is. Just curious, why is he so disliked?

I dislike Jeff Gordon, because he shares the name of a red-haired little jerk I knew in junior high. I think everyone else dislikes him because of those ads with him and his wife eating chili and Fritos. If I already didn't dislike him because of the name association, I'd like him for the commercials, because as necky as it is, chili and Fritos are really good together.
