BTW, I haven't even been able to talk to him all day. He's been stuck in boring meetings. At least Figure Skating is on tonight.

Hmm, perhaps those of us who are discontent with our current lines of work should put our heads together and figure out a business we could start together. Surely, our collective experience and intelligence could be put to better use. We just need a product.

Maybe we could start a cat food company and make the food in the shape of little anarchy symbols.

Maybe we could make the world's largest corndogs. Call them the "Lumbo Dog".

There must be something.

Hang in there, Chris, and know that no matter what, you have the support of a LoT of people who care a great deal about you.

Aw, my sympathy. And empathy. And complete commiseration. I think that Tom and my parents' heads are probably going to explode if I complain about my job one more time. I think some job-searching and some pre-celebratory hedonistic raw fish-eating is in order for BOTH of us in the time being. Geisha House? I've got a Visa card and I'm willing to use it.

Hang in there. This job, like this day, like this life, evaporates. We will make of the latter what we can (and I believe that will involve the extracation of self from the former.)
