Well, I like riding the ride... I just hate seeing the structure. It's the ugliest thing on the DCA skyline (along with that weird half-tunnel thing on Screamin'. Is it a tunnel or isn't it? Make up your minds, guys!)

It's a noise shield that was unfortunately petitioned by the surrounding hotels. It's designed to direct the sound at scream-prone areas back into the park. It was never part of the original design.
