I'd take them back - and if they won't "take them" you can make a big ol' scene proclaiming that their quality sucks eggs.

I am very sorry for what happened to you.

But.

I did take heed and took a good look at my own Old Navy corduroy work pants. Pants that I pull on the back pocket and move in any way I need to.

Well, after wearing to work for a year, I think they are wearing out...

Granted, they lasted me a year but to not have checked them out could lead to a very embarrassing situation.

This happened to me recently. I had been wearing jeans and sweats to work due to the dirty conditions of what was still mostly a construction site. One day I realize my pants have a whole in the butt, and ask my coworkers why they didn't tell me. They say "oh, I thought you knew it was torn and it was just an old pair of pants, you know that some people wear torn pants" etc. Even though you could totally see my panties? You thought I knew I looked like this? I'm glad I cleared that up with them.
