Were the words worthy of the penmanship?

Lani used to know a woman who's writing was like the output of a caligraphy machine. Every time I saw some random jotting I just thought "this is so unworthy of it." Made me want to give her important tasks just to counteract that.

My penmanship is not worthy of any fine words, it's really quite terrible.

The book arrived today, nice clean signature, looks like he inscribed it yesterday. It was, CP, in reality, a good price and a pretty penny. Consider the rarity ('ve seen 3 signed copies of this book in 30+ years), it was given by him to his sister and in pretty good to very good condition for the age. It was a nice investment and I could probably sell it for twice what I paid.
