I suppose the Catholic faith might be the opposite. You are terrible sinners- starve yourself out of mortification! (And no meat on Fridays). Oh, and since you're saving all that money by fasting, you'll feel a lot less guilty if you kick some of it our way.......

If I were a better Catholic, I might be skinnier.

Our Disney menorah is in storage, so this year I picked up one that had me giggling for the last two nights:

Each ladybug is made of wood and is attached to the one in front of it with a little ball and loop. I've been adding one ladybug a night...
