The first time I understood...I was giving the "turn him upside down and rub his belly to hypnotize him" trick, and he wasn't cool with it. So I got what was coming to me. The second time, I just had him in my lap petting him

Nature's Miracle works really well on pet pee spots. It gets rid of the smell according to Ralphie.

He peed a third time last night, on the carpet. GD used vinegar on it and that worked just fine. He rinsed out his clothes immediately, of course.

I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I get the pee treatment.

Maybe you should have named him Puddles.

He's still a baby and learning. I've been pee'd on by every pet I've ever had. It's kinda like "initiation".

White vinegar is one of the best pee cleaners/odor neutralizers out there. It's also excellent for cleaning the litter box and cage.

I had sort of started to refer to him as Mickey, but Munchykin is cute too!

Thank you guys SO much for adopting him!

Okay, so the entire backstory on Munchykin:

I was getting out of my car at home, and as I walked past, I saw some folks at their parking spot with something black and furry in their hands. I said, "Awwwww, is that a puppy?" And the guy said, "No, it's a bunny. Do you want it?" "What? Seriously? No, I can't my dog's a rabbit killer, he'd kill it!" "Yeah, she (meaning his friend, the blonde, irresponsible one) can't keep it. We were just gonna release it in the field..."

"NO! You can't release a domesticated animal into the wild! Please don't do that!" etc. And then one of the friends, actually it may have been the same guy, asked the blonde about calling an animal shelter (pound, basically). I said NO! They'll kill it too! And basically begged her to hang on to it for 24 hours for me to find it a home. Luckily, D-phile came to the rescue, so I went back over and got the bunny.

When I went back, knowing I was going to take the bunny, the blonde had taken her 2-year old into the bath (because the kiddo loved the bunny, obviously). And the woman standing out front told me more of the story.

The woman out front was the daughter of the owner of the condo. Blondie and her daughter lived with them, a renter, basically. Well, one day blondie shows up with this bunny, without asking anyone, mind you, and they were basically like, well, okay, it shouldn't be a problem. Well, it might not have been, except that, as we've already established, blondie isn't the most resposible of people. She has this tendency to take off for a couple days at a time, without bothering to tell anyone she's going or when she'll be back. So a couple days would go by, and the homeowner would be like, we've got to feed that rabbit! So they decided enough was enough and were making blondie get rid of bunny.

Blondie was trying to give it to one of her friends (with whom I apparently interacted), but they couldn't take it for some reason. She claims the "release it in a field" thing was just a joke, but given blondie's history, I still wasn't about to leave bunny with her, because God only knows where he'd have ended up.

So there ya have it, irresponsible woman who can't even take care of a bunny but is charged with the care of a 2-year old child (Lord help us), and imposing upon her rather permissive and forgiving landlady.

But thanks to the generosity of Disneyphile and all the wonderful folks here who showed interest in adopting him, he's now in a wonderful forever home.

I want to thank Morrigoon publicly for doing such a fabulously good deed that has given us a chance to be loving parents. Already he's changing our lives for the better (pee aside - he is still a baby.)

Oh, and we have been making good use of the white vinegar.

He is still a baby, so he'll get better as he grows. Even if he doesn't, you can contain him in areas easily cleaned when you let him out of the kennel- bunnies are usually pretty mellow and don't get into too much mischief. He really is adorable- I'd have taken him in a heartbeat, and I am overloaded with animals at the moment!
