				Daily Schadenfreude
I’m driving to work this morning. There is some idiot in a gold SUV weaving through traffic down 7th on the way to the freeway. All his aggressive driving wasn’t getting him very far, as we pass each other several times. I lose him on the freeway as he takes off, weaving through the loose traffic. Farther down the freeway, I’m in the left lane going about 65. The middle lane is open, but there is a white sedan a ways up that is driving about 60. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the gold SUV is behind me. I must have passed him somewhere. He swerves into the middle lane and zooms up behind the white sedan and seriously tailgates them. About then, I’m coming up about even with the two cars. The white sedan is a CHP car. I think you can see where this is going… Gold SUV whips into the right lane and speeds past the CHP car – gunning his engine. CHP hits his lights and goes after him…. I totally Muntzed.

| Nevermind | That happened to me a few years ago. Some woman in our hood who drives a big Mercedes always seemed to be behind me at the point in our road where it narrows to one lane. She'd get right on my ass and stay there until the road opened up, where she would speed up (and I am already going over the limit) and pass me on the right. Well, one day she did her usual, but a police officer was hiding in the private school parking lot and immediately whipped out and pulled her ass over. I can think of at least four violations she got nailed for- aggressive driving, speeding in a school zone (double fine!), driving to close, etc. It was awesome to see- instant karma! |

| Nueve | The little access road I take off the freeway is a speed trap on most days. It's 35 mph, but really should be a 45... it just feels natural at that speed... but I know better. Three out of four times there's always someone right on my ass. Unfortunately for the instant karma factor, it doesn't open up - but it puts a smile on my face when they back off after seeing someone pulled over.

				            | Every time I have gone to Laughlin I see instant Karma. This was especially nice when a couple of SUVs pulling Ski-Doos tried to run me off the road when I passed one (the front one tried to keep me from passing him). I pulled off at Ludlow, to let them get a ways away from me. When I got back on the road they were BOTH pulled over. |
